Accessibility
Statement v0.1 · reviewed annually
doctor.ing is meant to work for everyone who needs care. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we test with keyboard navigation and screen readers.
What we do
- Every action can be done with a keyboard; tap targets are at least 44 pixels; text and controls meet contrast requirements.
- The pre-visit questionnaire uses plain language, one question at a time, with no time limits, and you can type instead of tapping.
- Phone visits are always available as an alternative to video.
- Photos and documents are optional; nothing requires a camera.
- Emails and texts are short and tell you to sign in; the app reads well with screen readers and at 200% zoom.
Where we fall short
Some charts of lab trends are visual; the same numbers are always listed in text beside them. Video visits depend on your device and connection. If anything in the app is hard to use, tell us and we will find another way to provide the same care.
Getting help
Message the clinic from the app, or email [support address]. If you cannot use the app at all, the clinic will arrange your visit by phone.
